Kitchen staff, warehouse

The expansion of KS Tools also necessitated an expansion of its warehouse facilities. As part of the new construction, the warehouse was to include an open-plan office and a staff kitchen with a break area for warehouse employees who do not work in the main building.

The aim was to make internal processes more efficient and to offer employees a direct, on-site catering option. This allows them to easily spend their breaks in the integrated kitchen without having to travel any additional distances.

The furnishings needed to be practical, robust, and budget-friendly. Functionality was paramount, without sacrificing a pleasant and clean design.

A particular challenge was the tight timeframe: only three months were available from planning to completion.
